Are you interested in investing in your home?  Do you know which improvements are best?  Do you know which updates have the highest return on investment (ROI) or cost recouped (CR)?

A valuable source to assist you in answering these and other questions is the Remodeling Magazine.  A homeowner recouped the following in 2017, according to the Remodeling Magazine:

  • Kitchen Remodel – over 80% cost recouped

  • Garage Door Replaced – 85% cost recouped

  • Manufactured Stone Veneer – almost 90% cost recouped

  • Steel Entry Door Replaced – over 90% cost recouped

  • Fiberglass Attic Insulation – over 107% cost recouped

Bathroom and Kitchen updates are significant also.  However, I don’t know about you but, I wished that my Condo had an attic.
